We are proud to be joining Vanderbilt University leadership in a guided tour of their historic Nashville campus during the Society of College and University Planning’s (SCUP) 53rd Annual Conference on July 16th. Tour participants will have an opportunity to explore the campus in the context of the University’s recently completed Master Plan, Future VU. Led by University Architect Keith Loiseau; Associate Vice Chancellor & Chief Facilities Officer Michael Perez; and Division of Administration Chief of Staff Leigh Shoup, the University leaders will discuss Vanderbilt’s core values and their processes for successfully ensuring that planning is rooted in, and ultimately reflective of, those values.

The tour will culminate in a walkthrough of the soon-to-be completed E. Bronson Ingram Residential College, led by DMSAS President Gregory Hoss. The new E. Bronson Ingram RC will serve as the home for 350 students beginning this fall and is the first of four new residential colleges we are designing along West End Avenue for Vanderbilt. The building’s design is reflective of both the collegiate gothic tradition among top-tier institutions of higher learning and Vanderbilt’s own eclectic fabric of 19th & 20th century architectural styles. The building will include living, learning, collaboration, and dining spaces for students and faculty, all framed around a series of informal courtyard spaces.

We are honored to be contributing to this storied institution’s continued growth and evolution. If you’re planning to attend SCUP 53 in Nashville, we invite you to join us on this tour and see all of the exciting things happening at Vanderbilt.
