Juan Guareschi Assoc. AIA, LEED Green Associate
DesignerJuan joined the firm in 2024. Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Juan’s interest in architecture and the built environment sparked from a young age, as he grew surrounded by his family’s construction drawings, and visiting construction sites.
In 2015, he began his academic and professional endeavors outside his country, obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami (Class of 2020), and a M. Arch II Post Professional degree from Yale University, Class of 2024. During this time, he had the opportunity to study, live and work in USA, Italy, Paraguay and Sweden, broadening his understanding and sense of place, and giving him a more sensible and holistic perspective approach towards his design methodology.
Building on the latter, Juan’s interest lays on the intersection between Culture and Cultural techniques with Architecture and the city. His Design Research Investigation at Yale University -Asunción, Mother of Cities: The Temptation of an Ecologic Utopia- was presented at the International Planning and History Society in Hong Kong, and later on Published.
On his free time, Juan and his wife Camila love to walk explore the city and its parks, and when they are not enjoying the outdoors, you can always find him reading a book!
