Maya Ackerman
DesignerMaya Ackerman joined David M. Schwarz Architects in 2022. Originally from Maryland, Maya moved to DC to earn her Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Sustainability from The Catholic University of America. Originally studying the studio arts, Maya found a passion for Architecture during a first-year intro course to Architecture. Since joining the DMSAS team, Maya has worked on the Hampden House project in Bethesda, MD. In her free time, Maya enjoys gardening, caring for her cats, hitting up some good KBBQ, and playing a competitive game of Egyptian-Rat-Screw.
