The Anthem is a four-level, 6,000-person capacity concert hall designed as flexible-use space unlike any other music venue in the country. Through the use of loose seating, stage extensions, and the optional third level, the capacity can be adjusted from 2500-6000 patrons while always feeling full and lively. The balconies are closer to the stage than most venues and the proportions of the room are nearly square, contributing to a feeling of intimacy.
DMSAS served as the original programming architect and developed the architectural concept on which the final venue is based. DMSAS also served as consulting architect to the operator I.M.P. Productions during final design and build out. DMSAS teamed with Perkins Eastman, the base building architect of District Wharf, and interior designer the Rockwell Group. DMSAS ensured the concepts, which we developed for I.M.P. Productions, were followed and that their operational needs were met.
